Testing laboratory
Samuel Roche takes you behind the scenes of his testing laboratories.
The quest for the best
Since its creation, Samuel ROCHE has always sought out the most suitable and highest-performance raw materials and equipment in order to guarantee its customers the best quality webbing.
Careful selection of yarns on the global market, continuous optimisation of production equipment and close partnerships with suppliers and customers enable us to guarantee quality, safety and reliability in accordance with the current standards of each sector of activity.
High-quality textiles
For our strap manufacturing, we use high-tenacity synthetic fibres such as polyester, polyamide, polypropylene, aramids (Kevlar, Vectran, Heracron, etc.) and polyethylene (Dyneema, etc.).
At every stage of the manufacturing process, from the receipt of raw materials to the distribution of finished products, control procedures are scrupulously observed at all levels. The identification and traceability of each batch is fully ensured and guaranteed by our organisation and our IT system.
Daily checks are systematically carried out at each stage of production, and statistical measurements are taken. We have specially reinforced controls for ‘safety items,’ which are subjected to more frequent resistance and elongation tests, as well as width and thickness measurements.
Our quality control department issues certificates of conformity and performs break tests on request. Our laboratory is also equipped to perform tests on colour, abrasion and flammability.
Research and development
Our team of four textile engineers is at your disposal to advise you and help you develop products tailored to your constraints and needs.
Environment
Samuel ROCHE makes it a point of honour to protect the environment. All our waste is sorted by category. The vast majority is recycled and reused, such as wires and straps, cardboard packaging and tubes. Our production processes are equipped with energy recovery systems (hot water, hot air, etc.) to reduce consumption and limit waste.
